Manner for Cosplayer

・Be aware not to have some weird and shameful postures that makes someone else confused or hated.

When cosplayers dressed like their characters, they are already not themselves. They become a figure in fantasy, though it does not mean that the deeds those cosplayers do are not related to the social value. They represent not only themselves, but the character, too. That is, they are not only responsible to the fans who love the character but also for the images the crowds give them.


・(indoor) Do not cause crowd jam.

Clothing changing should only happen in the special rooms that are provided. Cosplayer are not supposed to occupy the restroom for common visitors, for making themselves up or changing the clothing.


・ Do not bring any REAL swords or guns that would be very dangerous or dreadful with.


Manner for Visitor

・ Ask for permission (from cosplayer) before taking picutre.

Even though there is a greatful passion in the cosplayers to show themselves, it still takes some time to post a perfect gesture or to show the expression. So do not take any picture before gaining for the permission.


・ Any criticism might be inappropriated.

Any comment about face, figure, or any bodily judgment in order to shame the cosplayer is not appropriated. Do not judge a character or cosplayer by its physical appearance, neither on the spot or on the website.


・ Do not follow the cosplayer, even though they are adorable.

Even though they are cosplayers, they are still ordinary people. If someone they are not familiar with is following them, they would feel uncomfortable and might regard the people as a "stalker".

Manner for Photogragher

・Gain a permission before entering the hall

It is a rule used regularly in the activities holding in Japan. In Taiwan, there is no concerned rules about it, which cause lots of filthy photographers look for sexual photographs or ask for sexual postures. Sometimes, they are kind of forceful to those cosplayers. (Most of cosplayers are young girls, few are boys.)


・Esteem Cosplayer's right to control the way their private picture would go.

Before using Cosplayer's pictures in newspaper, TV channel, Internet, or any media that makes known the pictures of Cosplayers, it is necessary to ask for Cosplayer's permission.
